The Burbank Rehabilitation Center at HealthAlliance Hospital provides comprehensive rehabilitation services tailored to each patient's needs and goals in a convenient and familiar setting that is close to home. The center offers multidisciplinary, hospital-level rehabilitation for patients in North Central and Western Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire. Three key qualities characterize the rehabilitation program - teamwork, achievement and family involvement.
Helping patients resume the most active and independent lifestyle possible is the focus of the staff at the Burbank Rehabilitation Center. We take an intensive approach to rehabilitation, and our small size - just 25 beds - ensures that each patient receives the individualized attention he/she requires. Patients are supported by a core clinical team made up of highly trained and experienced rehabilitation professionals.
The Burbank Rehabilitation Center provides specialized rehabilitation resources for the following conditions:
- Amputation
- Arthritis
- Back injury
- Bilateral joint replacements
- Burns
- Cancer
- Cardiac disease
- Complex fractures
- Complex medical problems
- Incomplete spinal cord injury
- Complex joint replacements
- Multiple trauma
- Neurological disease (i.e., multiple sclerosis, Guillain-Barre syndrome)
- Orthopedic conditions
- Pulmonary disease (i.e., chronic obstructive pulmonary disease)
- Stroke
- Work-related injury
Patients also have access to a comprehensive array of on-site medical services including:
- Chemotherapy
- Lite Gait

The Burbank Rehabilitation Center is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities and the Joint Commission.
