Outpatient services provided through the adult division include:

• Individual evaluations conducted by licensed psychologists, clinical nurse specialists and psychiatric social workers
• Psychiatric evaluations
• Medication management
• Individual psychotherapy
• Group psychotherapy
• Family therapy
• Couples therapy
• Anger management

Within most service interventions there are specific clinical approaches offered, including traditional psychotherapies, cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy. Patients receiving outpatient treatment through the adult division are also afforded access to various pharmaceutical trials conducted by the department’s Center for Psychopharmacologic Research.
