Blood and Marrow Transplant

The UMass Memorial Blood and Marrow Transplant Program is the most comprehensive center for blood marrow transplant services in Central and Western Massachusetts. It offers unrelated, allogeneic and autologous marrow and stem cell transplantation.
UMass Memorial is one of only five sites in New England authorized to perform unrelated bone marrow transplants. Patients have the opportunity to participate in clinical trials that incorporate the latest scientific research. Since the program began in 1994, hundreds of transplants have been performed.
