The UMass Memorial Children's Medical Center is the only comprehensive program for the care of infants, children and adolescents in Central Massachusetts. Focused on excellence, we are set within the region's preeminent academic medical center and its community hospitals, and we are truly a "hospital within a hospital."
Our mission is to improve the health of infants, children and adolescents within Central New England through the delivery of family-centered care, excellence in education and research, and the advocacy, support and promotion of children's health.
The physicians and staff of the Children's Medical Center believe that achieving excellence is accomplished by:
- Providing children with interdisciplinary services of the highest quality across the full continuum of care
- Maintaining state-of-the-art technologies and facilities
- Focusing on the unique needs of children and their families in the compassionate delivery of health services
- Preserving our commitment to community service
- Continuing our commitment to education and research
- Advocating for and promoting the health and welfare of every child
