CLINTON - Beginning May 2, Alexandra Schultes, MD, joins
Valerie Moreland, MD, at the newly expanded Sterling Family Medicine practice
located at 50 Leominster Road, Sterling. Dr. Schultes cares for patients of all
ages from newborns to seniors, and specializes in women's health, pediatric
services, dermatology and minor surgical procedures.
After practicing for 23 years at Barre Family Health Center, Dr. Schultes
says that she is looking forward to joining the wonderful health care providers
currently at Sterling Family Medicine and getting back to her roots of
practicing in a small town."I see caring for my patients as a team approach with
all of us working together," she said. "From what I've seen, all of the
physicians at Sterling Family Medicine seem to share in that same
philosophy."
Dr. Schultes earned her medical degree from UMass Memorial Medical School and
completed her residency at UMass Memorial/UMass Medical School. She is on the
medical staff at Clinton Hospital and is a long-time member of UMass Memorial
Medical Group.
"Dr. Schultes is a seasoned and well-respected physician who I believe will
be an exceptional addition to Sterling Family Medicine," said Sheila Daly, RN,
MS, president and CEO of Clinton Hospital. "This is a fantastic, local practice
and we are pleased to have made such a large investment in the Sterling
community by expanding our office space, creating additional exam rooms, and
most importantly bringing such a reputable physician as Dr. Schultes on
board."
Sterling Family Medicine is temporarily closed to new patients. Anyone
looking for a new physician is invited to call 978-422-5082 for more information
or to leave your contact information for a return call when the practice
reopens.
