Sterling Family Medicine Welcomes Kathryn Maier, MD

CLINTON Clinton Hospital and UMass Memorial Medical Group are pleased to welcome Kathryn Maier, MD, to our Sterling Family Medicine practice, located at 50 Leominster Road, Sterling. A graduate of New York Medical College, Dr. Maier performed her residency at UMass Medical School – Graduate Medical Education Barre Family Health Center and is board certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Maier cares for patients of all ages, specializing in both adult and pediatric Family Medicine.

“Dr. Maier is coming to us with a great reputation from her time in Barre,” said Sheila Daly, RN, MS, CPHQ, president and CEO of Clinton Hospital. “She has a wonderful energy about her and has proven to be very dedicated to her patients. I’m confident she will be warmly received in our community and an excellent addition to this busy practice.”

Dr. Maier’s philosophy is to treat not only her patients’ physical ailments, but also to build strong relationships with them and their families to achieve better overall health through a complete program of care. “By taking care of the whole family, I can better serve the individual,” she said. “Knowing both the individual and the family helps me take care of my patients better and the way they would like to be taken care of.”

Dr. Maier joins Valerie Moreland, MD, and Alexandra Schultes, MD at Sterling Family Medicine. She is also on the faculty at UMass Medical School as an assistant professor for the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health.
