Cardiac Rehabilitation

Cardiac rehabilitation assists patients adjusting to cardiac disease, reduces risk factors and helps patients to achieve their highest level of productivity. Individuals are candidates for the program if they have had any of the following conditions or procedures:

  • Heart attack
  • Coronary artery bypass graft surgery
  • Valvular or other cardiac surgery
  • Percutaneous coronary artery angioplasty or stents
  • Stable angina pectoris
  • Coronary artery disease documented by exercise tolerance test or coronary angiography

As a member of UMass Memorial Health Care, Clinton Hospital offers local residents a full range of cardiac rehabilitation services at our sister hospitals - each within a short drive of Clinton and the surrounding towns.
