Comprehensive physical rehabilitation services for adults and children are
provided on an outpatient basis in a modern rehabilitation center located at
Clinton Hospital.
Our services include physical, occupational and speech
therapy.
The goal of physical rehabilitation services is to return the patient to the
highest level of functioning through the efforts of an experienced, licensed and
caring staff supported by proven treatment modalities. Among the conditions or
injuries commonly treated are recovery from orthopedic procedures, such as joint
replacement surgery; broken or fractured bones; arthritis; joint or muscle
strains; stroke and other neurological impairments.
Among the effective treatments provided
are ultrasound, electrical stimulation and supervised stretching and
strengthening exercises. Occupational therapists can also provide help with
assistive devices and home assessments.
A hallmark of our rehabilitation services is the individual attention and
personalized care each patient receives. Physical Rehabilitation Services is one
of the hospital's outpatient departments honored with the National Summit Award
given for outstanding patient satisfaction.
