Each campus of HealthAlliance Hospital has a rich history as community
hospitals. The Burbank Hospital was formed in 1890; the Leominster Hospital was
formed in 1902.

In 1994, the two hospitals merged to
better serve the community. This new partnership was named Central New England
HealthAlliance. In 1998, the hospital became a member of the UMass Memorial
Health Care system, offering patients the advantages of direct access to the
services of the region's academic medical center.
Our mission is to provide clinical and service excellence to individuals in
our diverse communities through each stage of their lives.
Our vision is to be nationally recognized for our outstanding care. At
HealthAlliance Hospital, we envision a future in which our local commitment
earns us national acclaim; that we will be nationally recognized for our
outstanding care.
HealthAlliance Hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission, and is
designated a Primary Stroke Service by the Massachusetts Department of Public
Health. Our Burbank Rehabilitation Center is accredited by the Rehabilitation
Accreditation Commission.
