We know that every woman has different expectations about the birth of her
child. The Childbirth and Family Education Department at HealthAlliance Hospital
offers a wide selection of classes so patients can make the best choices for
their family.
Classes meet at HealthAlliance Hospital - Leominster Campus (unless otherwise
noted) during the week and on weekends. Husbands, partners and coaches are
welcome to attend. Classes fill early! Parents are encouraged to register for
Prepared Childbirth classes by their fourth month of pregnancy.
Many private insurance companies will reimburse some or all of the cost of
childbirth education classes. Upon completion of classes, participants should
obtain a receipt from their childbirth educator and send it to their insurance
company for reimbursement. Participants with Network Health Together should
bring a photo ID and Network Health card to the Birthing Center. HealthAlliance
Hospital will process the registration and obtain the fees from Network Health
Together.
