The Critical Care Unit at HealthAlliance Hospital is a 10-bed unit on the
Leominster Campus and offers specialized care to patients aged 15 and older.
Medical, cardiac and surgical patients are cared for by a patient-centered
multidisciplinary team of clinicians and consultants who are educated in the
care of critically ill patients.
Families are encouraged to visit, and visiting hours are adapted to
accommodate individual patient needs.
HealthAlliance Hospital also offers additional technology to support the
treatment of critically ill patients in our CCU. eICU audio and visual links allow
intensivists to monitor ICU patients from an off-site support center and serve
as a resource for bedside staff in caring for our most critical patients.
