Cardiac Rehabilitation

The outpatient Cardiac Rehabilitation Program at HealthAlliance Hospital guides patients through the process of healing, recovery and rehabilitation. Our goal is to help patients return to their normal lifestyles and level of activities. The program includes a medical evaluation, prescribed exercise, cardiac risk factor modification, and educational counseling for patients with heart disease - available one-on-one or in a group setting.

Individuals are candidates for the program if they have had any of the following conditions or procedures:

  • Heart attack
  • Coronary artery bypass graft surgery
  • Valvular or other cardiac surgery
  • Percutaneous coronary artery angioplasty or stents
  • Stable angina pectoris
  • Coronary artery disease documented by exercise tolerance test or coronary angiography

Our cardiac rehabilitation team consists of specially trained professionals. Our patients work with physicians, certified exercise physiologists, registered nurses and registered dietitians.
