This group meets six consecutive Wednesdays, beginning August 24, to help individuals confront the challenges of loss and cope with the feelings associated with the passing of a loved one. There is no cost to attend; however, space is limited.

Patient/Family Cancer Support Group
This group offers an opportunity for patients and family members to share their experiences of living with cancer and to find ways to address cancer-related problems. Members can join at anytime and attend as many of the monthly sessions as are helpful. Patients undergoing cancer treatment, and their family and friends are invited. Group is facilitated by a HealthAlliance Hospital volunteer and trained counselor. Free of charge.

Postpartum Support Group
Offered by the Birthing Center at HealthAlliance Hospital and facilitated by childbirth professionals, this group offers a chance for new moms to find new friends, receive peer support and get current information on infant development and nutrition. Topics include: returning to work, choosing childcare, breastfeeding support, relationship issues, finding the best sales and the newest gadgets, basic parenting skills and having fun with your baby. Light refreshments served.

SMART Recovery
