Marlborough, MA (January 17, 2013) – Marlborough Hospital is pleased to announce that Allis Kim, MD, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, is now on staff at Marlborough Hospital and is taking new patients. Dr. Kim’s clinical interests include sports medicine, rotator cuff repair, ACL reconstruction, meniscus repair, as well as knee and shoulder surgery.
“We are very excited to have Dr. Kim as a member of our medical team,” noted Karen Moore, president and CEO of Marlborough Hospital. “Her expertise further enhances the breadth and scope of our existing musculoskeletal program which includes joint replacements, sports medicine injuries, orthopedic trauma and fracture care.”
Donald Hangen, MD, Marlborough Hospital’s medical director for the division of musculoskeletal care agreed. “Dr. Kim’s philosophy of care is always focused on what is right and best for the patient. Her
clinical expertise and compassion will make her a true asset to the department.”
Dr. Kim is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and Albany Medical College. She completed her orthopedic residency training at Albany Medical Center and went on to complete a fellowship in sports medicine at the Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York City and New York University Medical Center. She has done previous work with the New York Mets.
