Nutrition

Nutrition plays a vital role in maintaining, improving and regaining good health. Marlborough Hospital's nutritionists are registered dietitians, licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and registered by the American Dietetic Association. They provide one-on-one nutrition counseling on an outpatient basis to patients with a variety of medical conditions, including:

  • Cancer
  • Diabetes
  • Eating disorders, including anorexia and bulimia
  • Elevated cholesterol
  • Gastrointestinal disorders
  • Heart disease
  • Hypertension
  • Obesity
  • Women's health issues

Our dietitians can also provide advice for patients who want to learn about specific diets. The one-on-one counseling is provided by registered dietitians who develop comprehensive nutrition plans tailored to each patient's unique medical needs, lifestyle and goals.
