Spine Care

Orthopedic physicians at Marlborough Hospital provide evaluations and nonsurgical treatments of spine problems. Patients who require more advanced services or might need surgery may be referred to the Spine Center at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester.

Diagnostic imaging services are provided in the hospital's state-of-the-art Diagnostic Imaging Center. Comprehensive rehabilitation services are provided to patients at a modern and spacious outpatient Physical Rehabilitation Center.

Marlborough Hospital now offers a specialty outpatient clinic for patients suffering from chronic pain who have not responded to previous treatments. 
 
Special procedures and services provided include:
 
•       Epidural (spinal) injections
•       Joint injections
•       Peripheral nerve blocks (motor and sensory) with Phenol, Botox and Myobloc
•       Trigger point injections
