Pediatric diagnostic imaging services at UMass Memorial Children's Medical Center in Worcester provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services for patients from birth through age 18 utilizing our state-of-the-art technology.
This service is staffed by board-certified radiologists who are fellowship trained in pediatric radiology. The staff also includes technologists who are trained in pediatric procedures and are sensitive to the special needs of pediatric patients and their families.
Most services are provided in a radiology suite specifically designed for children, which includes a special low-dose pediatric fluoroscopy room.
Pediatric diagnostic imaging services include:
- All standard radiologic and fluoroscopic procedures
- Pediatric ultrasound
- Pediatric computed tomography (CT) scanning
- Interventional procedures
- Pediatric magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
