Eye Care

Leading ophthalmologists on the UMass Memorial Medical Center medical staff offer patients a wide range of medical, surgical and consultative services for diseases and disorders of the eye, ranging from the simple to the complex. Patients can choose to receive their care from fellowship-trained ophthalmologists who are members of the UMass Memorial Medical Group and are on staff at the UMass Memorial Eye Center or from several community-based ophthalmologists, many with advanced fellowship training, who have offices throughout the Greater Worcester area. Eye trauma and inpatient services are also available at the Medical Center.

Groundbreaking clinical trials providing new treatments and hope for patients with vitreoretinal disease are available through the UMass Memorial Eye Center in collaboration with nationally recognized researchers and scientists at UMass Medical School.
