Pulmonary Rehabilitation

The Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester is designed to improve functioning and quality of life in patients with chronic lung disease, including individuals who experience disabling shortness of breath and fatigue due to pulmonary diseases and/or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. This outpatient program integrates exercise training with educational and behavioral interventions to help individuals live to their maximum potential. This seven-week program is scheduled several times a year.
