eICU Program
Our eICU program has specially trained critical care physicians who use voice, data and video technology to enhance the patient care provided by the bedside staff in our adult ICUs. This extra level of care has proven to reduce ICU mortality and length of stay.
UMass Memorial continually ranks as number one for overall quality in a consortium of United States hospitals using this same eICU technology.

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
The UMass Memorial Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is internationally recognized for its quality care. It's the region's only Level III (highest rating given) NICU for high-risk obstetric and neonatal care.

For the most critically injured and ill patients, the Duddie Massad Emergency and Trauma Center at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester offers the region's only accredited Level One Trauma Center for both children and adults.

Children's Services
UMass Memorial Children's Medical Center is a "hospital within a hospital" providing extensive services to meet children's needs.
