UMass Memorial hosts two support groups related to limb loss and amputation. Both welcome patients, their families, caregivers and friends. Please contact each directly for more information.
UMass Memorial Amputee Support Group
This group provides education, resources and assistance for patients and families of patients who have undergone or will undergo lower extremity amputations. This group will help patients adjust to life immediately after surgery as well as establish and reach long-term goals.
