PALMER - Last week, dozens of people attended the opening of the Noonan-Reim Cardiovascular Suite at Wing Memorial Hospital. The new suite centralizes the outpatient cardiac services provided by the hospital's cardiology team.
"Thanks to the generous donation of Edward and Ellen Noonan, the Noonan-Reim Cardiovascular Suite is another example of how Wing Memorial Hospital provides high quality, patient-centered care," says Charles Cavagnaro III, MD, President and CEO of Wing Memorial Hospital and Medical Centers. The generous donation by the Edward and Ellen Noonan was in memory of their mothers Constance Noonan and Mary Marjorie Reim.
"By locating the outpatient cardiovascular services in one area, we have made it easier for our patients to obtain the cardiac care they need with greater efficiency and comfort," says Brian Laliberte, MD, director of cardiovascular services at Wing Memorial Hospital. In addition to the broad range of general cardiac services offered - such as stress testing, stress echocardiograms, nuclear stress testing, and echocardiograms - the Wing cardiology team also provides sub-specialty care in congestive heart failure, electrophysiology, and cardiac catheterizations.
